Worship and Sunday School Online Only for 11/22/2020
Dear Church Family and Friends,
Earlier today, we received the unfortunate news that one of our staff members has tested positive for COVID-19. We want to be in prayer for he and his family as they endure this dreaded illness.
Consequently, this news impacts the ministries of our church since each of our staff members had been near him earlier in the week (mainly Monday and Tuesday). For this reason, we feel that it’s best to worship “online only” this Sunday, November 22. All Sunday School classes will meet via Zoom, where applicable.
We regret having to make such a decision, because we know what a blessing it is when we worship together, but after spending time in prayer and considering the safety and health of all church members, we sense the Lord’s direction to do so.
As we’ve maintained all along, decisions regarding in-person worship and other meetings are made on a weekly basis. We will update you about next week as soon as we can based on the latest conditions.
A few things you can do to help.
(1) Please pray for God’s grace, wisdom, guidance, and protection as we move forward.
(2) Please let others know of our plans to worship online-only tomorrow, especially those who may not receive online communications.
(3) Please let us know if you have tested positive for COVID. In the weeks ahead, it will help us contact trace and make decisions moving forward. This information will remain private.
(4) Please tell us if there is a special way we can serve you. We are more than willing to help.
May God bless our church and community throughout this challenging time!
