We’ve done this a few times, but it doesn’t hurt to read the instructions again before you start. If you’re absolutely sure you know what you’re doing, you can skip to the bottom to find the guide vocal video links.
1. Watch and listen to the guide vocals video on one device. I suggest you watch on a computer or a tablet. The new video contains the music and a small Picture-in-picture window of me directing. The bigger the screen, the easier it will be for you to see.
2. Make sure you use a set of headphone or ear buds to listen to the guide vocals. I suggest you put them in only ONE ear so you can hear yourself sing with the vocals
3. Record yourself using an iPhone or Android phone device in the PORTRAIT orientation (up and down). If you do not have such a device, you can use a tablet or webcam.
4. After recording your video, try sending it via iMessages to my cell phone at 865-201-7404. Chances are, this will work. Your phone will either send it directly to me or it will upload it to iCloud and then send it to me. The phone should do it automatically.
5. Don’t delete your video until you hear from me that I received it in a high enough quality to use.
6. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, following my conducting directions and the click track so we all cut off together. This is CRITICAL on the final cutoff at the end of the song.
7. For those of you who have a problem sending me your video via iMessages or if you have an Android phone or tablet, here’s an alternative way to do it. If you have any issues, call or text me at 865-201-7404.

- Click Choose Files
- Click Photo Library (on android it may work differently)
- Select your Video (you can go to your video album to find it quickly)
- If it’s selected, it will get a blue checkmark
- Touch Done
- Enter your name and email address where it asks for it
- Click Upload
- Wait until the upload is complete.
- Send me a text at 865-201-7404 to let me know you uploaded it.
From a computer
- Click this dropbox link

- Click Choose Files
- Select your video and click the “Choose” button
- Enter your name and email address where it asks for it
- Click upload.
- Wait until the upload is complete.
- Send me a text at 865-201-7404 to let me know you uploaded it.
